We all have moments in the day where all we want is a good snack. I work super close to some of the best restaurants and cafes in Kitchener-Waterloo and it can be really hard to not take the 3 minute walk to get some delicious pastries or an amazing cup of gelato.
To control those afternoon cravings I have been trying out some healthy snack recipes. I came across a delicious peanut butter chocolate chop protein ball recipe. Not only are they healthy and delicious, but they are packed with protein! And we all know how hard it can be to get enough protein in a day.
Here is the recipe. Enjoy!
- 2/3 cups oats
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 3/4 cups natural peanut butter
- 3 tbsp dark chocolate chips
Blend the ingredients together and form into balls. Store in an air tight container and refrigerate to keep fresh. If you find your protein balls are crumbly add a little more peanut butter.
